Truly Amazing

This blog is for everyone who came and helped us turn our house from a dirty mess into a beautiful home. THANK YOU so much for all the hard work you did! We had tons of fun and some pretty funny moments in the process:) We have amazing friends who helped alot.... Fred,Aaron, Jordan, Pastor Rick, Mr. Reed, Mr Rose, Libby, Chris, Adam, Steve, and emily thank you guys soooooooooooooooooo much you dont know how much you helped!! And i have to say a special thank you to my dad for taking my nasty bathroom and giving mr a wonderful new tub and fixing all the plumbing issues that Kept comming up.. he put in many long hours getting it done and doing it the best way possible!! YOU ROCK:) and to Leah and Patrick Rose....... you guys are amazing. Leah i dont know what i would do without you during all this! You have been the best friend a girl could ask for. You put in more hours than me making the house look great! Everytime i was at the house you were next to me slaving away and doing anything i needed you too. You have no idea how much that means to me. if it wasnt for you i would have had a breakdown at day 2!!!! Thank you for being there and for everything you did:) And i know we both are brain damaged from all the paint and cleaning supply fumes but at least we had a good time:) And pat thank you for helping shay with the bathroom floors and all that nasty work!!! We are truly blessed to have all of you in our lives and as soon as we get everything done its PARTY TIME!!!!! we love you and thanks again!!...ps if i forgot you im sooooo sorry(its the brain damage) and thank you:)

sad happy night

Tonight is our last night at the condo.... i have mixed emotions at the moment:) Most of me is very happy to be moving in to our new home and out of building life but i have to say the other small part is sad. This is where we can after we were married....this is where we had our first big fight, first christmas and thanksgiving, it was our first "home" together. so im a little sad to be leaving:( and now we have yard work and taxes and trash and when things break WE have to fix it!!!!!!! This month has been amazing and crazy and tomarrow it will finally all be worth it! We will spend our first night in our house and i know we will love it. After three weeks of hard work and a few tears the house is ready (enough) for us to move! we went over tonight to get things ready to move in and i realized how much i love this house...no bathroom and all:) i was putting away dishes and thinking abuot everything that will happen in this house.....we will have fixed our first bathroom (or two) together....we will bring our babies home to this house...we will have a dog(PLEASE SHAY) and have tonsof bible studies and parties with our family and friends. I cant wait to see what God has instore for us and our new home:)

FINALLY WE ARE NEW HOME OWNERS!!!!! We closed on our perfect home last night:) it was a crazy 8 months looking and waiting for the right house and even crazier when we found the right one!! Yesterday was overwhelming and nuts but everything worked out and now begins the maddness!! God is good:)

A new year begins..

Well it is now 2008!!! wow this year has flown by. We had a good time last night with some great friends who never fail to amaze me!! We had fun playing catch phrase and eating lots of good food. The hoildays have been wounderfull this year filled with family and great friends. Christmas was funny tring to teach grandma how to play the wii and playing a fun game of family fude...when the question was what profession make the most tips ... Grandma yelled "PROSTITUTES" and we will never let her forget it! On New Years eve Patrick insisted we "pet the stupid cat" and Aly we wont even go there!! I love you guys and am so happy to call you my friends. This year was great and i think 2008 will be even better:)
